BSides Galway
Feb 21st
University of Galway
Galway, IrelandBSides Galway brings together Ireland’s security community for a day of technical depth, academic rigor, and open exchange. Built by and for practitioners, BSides is where real-world security challenges are examined without marketing gloss—through research, data, and practitioner experience.
We’ll be on site to contribute to that conversation with a focused look at one of Ireland’s most pressing concerns: the cyber resilience of Critical National Infrastructure (CNI).
Featured Session
An Intelligence Lens on Irish Critical National Infrastructure with Eamonn Larkin of Centripetal. Drawing from Centripetal’s access to the world’s largest private collection of threat intelligence, this session delivers a uniquely informed view of the evolving cyber threat landscape impacting Ireland today.
Using real-time, AI-driven, human, and commercial operationalized intelligence, the session explores how threat actors—particularly state-sponsored and organized criminal groups—are conducting sustained reconnaissance, probing OT environments, and deploying malware designed for subtle persistence and long-term impact.
Threat actors have changed.
They are mission-driven, organized, and modernized. They prioritize impact over noise, persistence over speed, and opportunity over visibility. As the number of intelligence producers, threat groups, malware families, and contextual signals continues to grow, this session examines how leveraging modern threat intelligence—at scale—can move organizations into a proactive defensive posture aligned to how adversaries actually operate.
Let’s Connect in Galway
Our team will be at BSides Galway throughout the event. Stop by to meet us, continue the conversation after the session, or schedule time to connect while you’re there. We’re looking forward to hearing how these challenges are showing up in your environment—and sharing what the intelligence is revealing on ours.
